Slashing capex and further de-risking Prairie lithium
Arizona Lithium (ASX:AZL) managing director Paul Lloyd joins Stockhead's Fraser Palamara on Long Shortz to walk through the company's revised phased development plan for the Prairie lithium project in Saskatchewan, Canada. The headline change is a sharply reduced entry cost, with the initial capital expenditure required to commence production operations cut to approximately US$22 million (A$35 million) under the updated strategy.
In the interview, Lloyd explains how the phased, modular approach is designed to further de-risk Prairie, beginning with a commercial-scale Phase 1 facility that can be expanded in later phases as production ramps up.
