Special Report: Prairie Lithium has a clear line of sight to first production from its namesake lithium project in Saskatchewan, Canada, after taking delivery of North America’s largest commercial direct lithium extraction unit.

Its arrival significantly de-risks the project by enabling the next phase of installation and commissioning to begin, building on the existing production and disposal wells, electrical infrastructure and the site’s power transformer.

Prairie Lithium’s (ASX:PL9) DLE unit is about four times larger than the commercial system deployed at Standard Lithium’s Arkansas project.

All of the lithium to be produced under the Phase 1 development is secured under the company’s binding offtake agreement with Hydro Lithium.
